Catalyst-free single-step growth strategy of high-quality self-assembled single-crystal vertical GaN nanowires grown on a wide range of common and novel substrates (e.g., GaN, Ga2O3, and 2D TMD monolayer) simultaneously, under identical conditions by pulsed laser deposition.
