Solid-state physics of semiconductors, Mark’s research with Dr. Roqan was on the growth & characterization of wide band gap semiconductors—namely ZnO & high purity GaN using PLD, SQUID, SEM, TEM, AFM, MFM, & XRD.
Currently while working for Aramco, Mark is exploring the use of wide band gap materials for sensing in the field of Inspection - an offshoot of his field of research with Dr. Roqan.
