As a part of this work, we revealed the strong effect of Gd doping on the magnetic and electrical properties of ZnO. More specifically, we successfully obtained strong ferromagnetic signals in ultra-diluted Gd-doped ZnO films and nanostructures, and revealed high conductivity behavior in Gd-doped nanorods.
